In 1918, Désiré Cordier became owner of Château Talbot, one of the most prestigious growths in Saint-Julien. 100 years later, the Bignon-Cordier family, still at the head of the estate, are celebrating this anniversary by unveiling a very special bottle. To celebrate this memorable anniversary, we have decided to honour this 2018 vintage with a unique screen-printed bottle, for the entire production in 75 cl.
The other formats (half-bottles, magnums, double magnums, etc.) will have a special label, reflecting the aesthetics of the 75 cl bottle.
A PILLAR OF THE MAIN CELLAR AS A SYMBOL
A real technical and aesthetic feat, the main barrel cellar is supported by impressive concrete pillars forming a forest that seems to open up to the sky.
Nancy Bignon-Cordier chose the strong symbolism of these pillars, in turn evoking vines, trees and roots embedded in the terroir, to represent her family’s 100th vintage at Talbot.
