Love of quality and respect for the land so aptly described above have existed at Talbot since 1917, year that the Cordier family took over the estate. This was the important lesson bequeathed by this wine producer to his children. His son Georges, then his grand-son Jean, ran the estate with the same aim for perfection.
Today Lorraine Rustmann and Nancy Bignon-Cordier are the owners of Talbot, which they inherited after the death of their father in 1993. They work together to allow this grand cru to exist in tune with the times, aided by memories of the skills and know-how of the four generations which preceded them.
